YouTube API Services
AOKE-CRM uses YouTube API Services. Google's processing of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the YouTube integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
This disclosure was updated on September 5, 2026.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Ningbo Aoke ("AOKE", "we", "us") processes information when you use AOKE-CRM. AOKE-CRM helps business users connect social media accounts that they are authorized to manage. Connecting an account is optional and takes place through the relevant platform's official authorization process.
AOKE-CRM does not ask you to provide your social media password. Authentication is completed on the social platform's own page.
2. Information we process
Depending on the platform permissions you approve, AOKE-CRM may process:
- Account identifiers such as an open ID or platform user ID.
- Profile information made available by the platform, including display name, username, and avatar.
- Authorization details, approved scopes, token expiry information, and connection status.
- Public media metadata for the authorized account when read access is approved.
- Content files, captions, privacy choices, and publishing settings that you intentionally select for a supported publishing action.
- Local technical logs and error information needed to diagnose a connection or API request.
The exact data available varies by platform, account type, product approval, and the permissions you grant.
3. Google and YouTube API data
When you connect a YouTube channel, AOKE-CRM requests only the Google permissions needed for the features you choose:
- YouTube read-only access to display the authorized channel, its uploaded videos, video visibility, and recent comments.
- YouTube upload access to upload a video with the title, description, audience designation, and privacy setting that you explicitly select.
- YouTube account management access to send a comment reply that you explicitly write and submit as the displayed authorized channel.
AOKE-CRM does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or training generalized artificial-intelligence models. Google user data is not sold and is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the user-requested feature, comply with applicable law, or as part of a transaction only where permitted by Google policy and with required notice or consent.
AOKE-CRM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How we use information
We process information to connect authorized accounts, display account and content information, perform actions explicitly initiated by the user, refresh authorized sessions, diagnose errors, protect the application from misuse, and comply with legal or platform obligations. We do not sell personal information or use connected-account data for unrelated advertising.
5. Local storage and security
The current AOKE-CRM desktop application stores social platform access tokens and developer credentials on the user's device using the operating system's protected encryption facility. YouTube video files are read from the path selected by the user and transmitted directly to YouTube for the requested upload; AOKE-CRM does not upload a server-side copy to Ningbo Aoke. Retrieved channel, video, and comment data is displayed on demand and is not retained in a remote AOKE-CRM database.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their Windows account and device. No system is completely secure; we apply reasonable technical safeguards and limit processing to the permissions required for enabled features.
7. Retention
Local connection information is retained while the account remains connected or as needed for application operation. Disconnecting an account removes its stored connection and tokens from AOKE-CRM. Technical records may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, support, compliance, or dispute resolution. Data retained by a social platform remains subject to that platform's policies.
8. Your choices and deletion
You can decline requested permissions or disconnect an individual account in AOKE-CRM at any time. You may separately revoke Google's access from the Google Account third-party connections page. Disconnecting deletes the locally stored OAuth tokens and YouTube connection record. To request access, correction, or deletion of other information under our control, use the contact page below and identify the request as an “AOKE-CRM privacy request.” We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before completing a request.
9. International use and children
Connected platforms may process data in other countries under their own policies. AOKE-CRM is a business operations tool and is not directed to children. Users must be legally able to authorize the relevant account and use the service.
10. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the product, platform requirements, or laws change. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product or website notice.
11. Contact us
Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through the AOKE-CRM contact page. Please include “AOKE-CRM” in your message so it reaches the appropriate team.
